Who Says Spray Painting is Just "Slap It On"?The first CXHI (Painting) Spray Painting Skills Competition has successfully concluded after days of intense competition! This event was designed to continuously improve coating skills and build a highly skilled, professional team of painters.
This competition delivered a double whammy of theory and hands-on challenges, with Jotun Paints providing expert support throughout. Sixteen master painters engaged in the ultimate showdown—this battle tested not just speed, but brains too!

The competition carefully selected typical structural components, allowing participants to showcase their skills in a fair environment. From the ceremonial precision of PPE wear to millimeter-level control of spray gun distance, every step was executed with meticulous care.
Two highlights stood out:
Paint by the Gram – Precise weighing before and after application to enhance cost awareness. Every drop saved equals real money!
Four Components, One Go – Simultaneous spraying slashed cycle times, maximizing efficiency like never before.
Judges closely observed and recorded each contestant’s technique, workflow, and precision, leaving no room for error. Coating thickness checks, surface inspections, flaw marking… The air itself was thick with rigor.
